As people’s living standards improve and technology advances, the use of drones has become increasingly widespread, encompassing civilian, military, and commercial applications. Nowadays, even ordinary people rely on drones for photography while hiking or off-roading, proving that drones are becoming indispensable in various situations.

As shown in the image, these are drone parts we recently machined, all made from 6061 aluminum. Aluminum alloy is ideal for drone components due to its low density and lightweight properties—about one-third the weight of steel—making it easy to machine while maintaining high strength. It offers excellent sealing properties, is easy to recycle, environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, corrosion-resistant, and fireproof. These unique features make aluminum alloy the top choice for drone parts.

For internal structural components, since they are not visible and have minimal contact with air, they are simply polished in their natural color. External parts, however, which are more exposed and prone to scratches, undergo hard anodizing. This treatment forms an oxide layer on the surface, enhancing corrosion resistance, surface hardness, and wear resistance. Additionally, the oxide layer provides good insulation, making it well-suited for the operating conditions and environment that drones face.
