Swiss machining is often selected for small, slender and high-precision parts that are difficult to machine consistently with conventional CNC turning. The guide bushing supports the workpiece close to the cutting tool, helping reduce deflection and improve stability for long or small-diameter components.

Large-diameter shafts may be better suited for CNC turning service. Flat or prismatic parts should usually be reviewed for CNC milling service.

Choose Swiss machining when
